While serving his country during 2003 in Iraq, Jesse sustained a neck injury when a 25 pound sand bag landed on the back of his neck. The good news was that Jesse’s love of soccer had created strong neck muscles that prevented a broken neck. The bad news was that his condition was untreated for about six months.
Compressed disks, pinch nerves and bone spurs cause Jesse’s neck and shoulders to lock up. “It’s very painful, and I didn’t go a day without pain. I had headaches as well. Before seeing Dr. Johnson, I sometimes had headaches that lasted for days.”
A move to San Clemente provided an opportunity for Jesse to seek out the help of Dr. Johnson. “I wanted to work with someone utilizing the Gonstead method as a family member who is a chiropractor in Missouri uses this method very successfully.”
“I’ve been going to Dr. Johnson for about 2 years,” says Jesse. “If my neck or back locks up, I could be out of work for a week. I see Dr. Johnson regularly to prevent me from getting to that point. He has provided me with exercises to help minimize the pain and stiffness as well as tips so my physically demanding job takes less of a toll on my body.”
“I always recommend Dr. Johnson to anyone in need. He keeps me well adjusted, and I am back playing soccer. His level of knowledge, the methods he uses, his level of experience and expertise is outstanding. Our entire family loves going to him.”
