An automobile accident and later a work-related injury has caused Allen to suffer lower back problems since 1984. Says Allen, “I’ve struggled with pain for years and have been seeing chiropractors off and on for over 25 years.
When his back went out on his construction job in Dana Point, Allen asked his wife to call around to find a local chiropractor with good rates and also close-by. He met with Dr. Johnson and liked him immediately. “He got the problem corrected quickly and I was back to work right away. I continue to see Dr. Johnson only when needed so that I’m always walking correctly. When I overcompensate, I need to get back into alignment as soon as possible.”
“Dr. Johnson is the first chiropractor in 15 years that is more concerned about getting me better than making money off me. That’s why I recommend him. He’s more caring about my health than any other chiropractor I’ve ever come across. He has a very nice personality and is great to work with.” Dr. Johnson’s attitude is what had Allen bring his wife in for treatment after suffering continual problems from a whiplash 18 years ago.
Continues Allen, “Before working with Dr. Johnson, I had to be very careful, particularly in my construction job, while picking up even the smallest of things. While I’m more aware of the affects my movements cause, it can still be challenging. If I’m at work and my back goes out, I can’t wait. If I even wait a day, my back gets progressively worse until I start hobbling and lifting becomes an issue. If it’s not addressed immediately, it also takes much longer to treat. The thing I like most about Dr. Johnson is that he’ll fit me in as quickly as possible so that I can avoid pain and get back on track. I appreciate how much he cares.”
One of Allen’s loves is the ocean. He thoroughly enjoys fishing, surfing, diving and boating. “I can do all these things now with much more confidence,” Allen explains. “The last think you want to do on a fishing trip is have your back go out the second day on a seven day trip. I’ve been there. Not only is it expensive, it’s pretty depressing. Because of Dr. Johnson, I don’t have to worry any more and can take pleasure in every minute of my day.”
Says Allen, “I recommend Dr. Johnson to all of my friends and family and to those people who have chronic back problems. It’s well worth the drive wherever you live.”
